My Self Help Solutions

Below is a video from Tony Robbins. I rate him as one of the best of the Self Help teachers. As with all the information out there about self change what he tells us is common sense that we have manged to forget.
Here he is talking about about Clarity and Purpose. To succed in life you have to be clear about what you want and to have enough reasons or purpose to motivate you to your goal. Take a listen.

I believe self help is accepting yourself but understanding that you are not perfect. You try to add new habits to improve your life. Many people assume that self help means that you view your self as a failure. You as a human being has been gifted with extra ordinary abilities and you are not a failure.
With self acceptance you pass from blaming your self to acceptance. This allows you to begin forward.
I have an insane fear of public embarrsement. I am not sure why but it is there and has held me back from trying anything new. I am now working on it by trying new things. Taking classes and talking to people that I would have never talked to before. I will let you know how it goes over the next few months.

We are taught at young age that young age that if we try something and do not do it well. We should not do this again. But the greatest people in history have failed repeatably but in not stopped trying in the end these are the people we remember.

Abraham Lincoln lost every election but preserved and was elected President. Thomas Edison tried 10.000 times to create the light bulb and finally through perseverance he succeeded.

We remember the people who preserved but can you name 1 person in hostory who is remembered for quitting. The only true failure is to quit trying.
